Turn Meeting Discussions into Miro Diagrams and Boards Automatically with SuperIntern MCP

Someone always draws it twice.

In the meeting, your team talks through the new approval flow: who submits, who reviews, what happens when legal says no. Everyone nods at a picture that exists only in the air. Then, a day later, somebody has to become the scribe: open Miro, drag out boxes and arrows, and try to reconstruct from memory what was so clear when it was spoken. Half the time the diagram never gets made, and the next meeting starts with "wait, what did we decide about the rejection path?"

Here's the thing: the picture was captured. Every step, every branch, every "let's confirm that with legal" is sitting in your SuperIntern transcript and AI summary. The only missing piece is a human redrawing it. This guide shows how to connect SuperIntern's MCP and Miro's MCP to Claude, so that turning what a meeting said into a diagram on a Miro board takes exactly one prompt.

What we're building: before / after

Before: A process discussion ends, and the visual lives in people's heads. Someone spends 30 to 60 minutes rebuilding it in Miro from notes and memory, usually a day late, sometimes never. Retros and workshops generate walls of talk that nobody turns into structured artifacts.

After: The meeting ends, and you ask Claude once: "diagram what we agreed." Claude pulls the AI summary and transcript from SuperIntern, extracts the steps, owners, and decision branches, and creates the flowchart directly on your Miro board. Ambiguous points show up as "to confirm" nodes instead of silently guessed arrows. You open Miro, nudge a few boxes, and share the link.

The reason the raw material is always there is that SuperIntern is a botless desktop meeting assistant: no bot joins your call, and transcripts and AI summaries accumulate automatically on any meeting platform, even in person. The conversation is captured whether or not anyone planned to make a diagram. The only manual step left was the redrawing, and that's the part you hand to AI today.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for safely connecting AI assistants to external tools. SuperIntern's MCP exposes your meeting data to AI clients read-only, while Miro's official MCP server provides tools to create Mermaid diagrams, tables, and structured documents on your boards, and to read and search board content.

In other words, it is Claude that draws on the Miro board, not SuperIntern. Your SuperIntern data can never be modified by the AI, and it can only see meetings you yourself can access. On the Miro side, everything lands on boards in your own account; sharing a board with your team remains a human decision.

Setup

There are only two connections to make. Neither requires an API key, just a login screen.

1. Connect SuperIntern MCP to Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose "Add custom connector", and register the connection URL:

2. Connect Miro MCP to Claude

Miro ships an official remote MCP server. In Claude, it's listed in the connector directory: click the plus icon in the chat box, choose "Add connectors", search for Miro, and approve the OAuth flow for your Miro team. In Claude Code and other clients you can register the endpoint directly:

Demo 1: The flow you discussed, as a diagram, minutes after the meeting

The highest-value moment is right after a process or spec discussion, while everyone still remembers what the boxes were supposed to mean. The key is to tell Claude what kind of diagram you expect and to give ambiguity an explicit home.

Get the AI summary and transcript of the meeting "Contract approval flow
redesign" that just ended. On my Miro board [board URL], create a flowchart
of the approval flow we agreed on:
- One node per step, with the owner in parentheses
- Decision points as branches with yes/no labels
- Anything the discussion left unresolved as a node labeled "To confirm:",
  quoting who raised it
Do not invent steps that were not discussed.

Claude reads the discussion, reconstructs the flow, and creates the diagram on your board:

Notice what the "to confirm" node does: instead of a diagram that looks finished but quietly encodes one person's guess, the unresolved point stays visibly unresolved, with a name attached. The next meeting starts from that node instead of from "what did we decide?"

Demo 2: A retro board that fills itself in

Retrospectives produce exactly the kind of talk that dies in the air: dozens of observations, a few real decisions, and a facilitator too busy facilitating to write everything down. Since SuperIntern captures the whole session, you can turn the retro into a structured Miro artifact afterwards.

Get the transcript of today's "Sprint 34 retro". On the board [board URL],
create a table with columns Keep / Problem / Try:
- One row per distinct point raised, in the speaker's own words, shortened
- Merge duplicates, and note how many people raised the same problem

The table gives the team the classic retro artifact without anyone playing scribe during the session, and the document separates "things we said" from "things we committed to", which is the distinction retro follow-ups usually lose. Next sprint, point Claude at the same board and it can add the new retro's rows to the existing table, so the board becomes a running history instead of a pile of one-off snapshots.

Demo 3: A weekly project board from all your meetings

Working across multiple meetings at once is something only MCP makes easy. On Friday, turn the week's discussions into a project status board.

List this week's meetings in the "Atlas migration" project and get each
AI summary. Create a new Miro board "Atlas: week of Aug 24":
1) A document "Decisions this week": each decision with the meeting it
   came from and the date
2) A flowchart of the current migration plan as of Friday, reflecting
   the changes agreed this week
3) A table "Open questions" with columns Question / Raised in / Owner

Claude aggregates the week, and the result is the board you wish someone had been maintaining all along: current plan, decision log, open questions, each traceable to the meeting it came from. What used to require a PM's discipline every single day becomes a weekly prompt.

Tips and caveats

Name the diagram type and the board. "Create a flowchart on board X" beats "visualize this". Miro's MCP creates diagrams from a Mermaid definition, so flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and simple org charts all work well; tell Claude which one you want.

Give ambiguity a home. The "To confirm:" node pattern from Demo 1 is the single biggest quality lever. Without it, AI-generated diagrams look authoritative even where the discussion wasn't. With it, the diagram becomes an honest map of both what was decided and what wasn't.

Verify contentious steps against the transcript. For flows that touch money or compliance, add "for each step, quote the statement in the transcript it comes from." A diagram grounded in the primary record beats a diagram built from memory precisely where it matters most.

Treat the generated board as a first draft. Claude gets the structure right; the ten minutes you spend nudging layout and grouping in Miro is what makes it presentation-ready. The win is starting from a structured 80%, not from an empty board.

Everything stays in your accounts. The board is created in your Miro account, and SuperIntern MCP only reads meetings you can access. Nothing is shared with teammates until you share the board yourself.

Improve accuracy on the SuperIntern side. The better your transcripts capture team names, system names, and jargon, the better the diagrams. Register recurring terms in SuperIntern's custom dictionary.

A nice combo: after a spec discussion, one prompt creates the flow diagram in Miro (this article) and files the action items in Linear (the Linear article), so both the picture and the tasks come from the same source of truth.

Q. Can I use SuperIntern MCP on the free plan?
A. No. Personal workspaces require the Plus plan or higher. Team plan workspaces can use it as is, and on Enterprise it works once an admin turns on "MCP access" in workspace settings.

Q. Does SuperIntern draw on my Miro boards?
A. No. Claude creates the diagrams and tables using Miro's MCP. SuperIntern MCP only provides meeting data read-only; SuperIntern itself never writes to external tools.

Q. Can the AI modify my meeting notes or transcripts?
A. No. Every SuperIntern MCP tool is read-only; no create, edit, or delete operations exist. Writes happen only on the Miro side, in your own account.

Q. Which Miro plan do I need?
A. Miro's MCP server works on every Miro plan, including free teams, according to Miro's docs. Board creation, diagrams, tables, and documents are available via MCP tools.

Q. Can it draw any kind of diagram?
A. Miro's MCP creates diagrams from Mermaid definitions, which covers flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and similar structured diagrams, plus tables and documents as separate tools. Freeform sticky-note clustering is better done by hand on the generated board.

Q. Does this work with AI clients other than Claude?
